#11: Unexpected Planning, isn’t It?

On a night when I was arranging my financial planning in a spreadsheet, I told him about it. I let him access my spreadsheet, because he will be my future husband (maybe, Amin!).

We were discussing our plan and saving. He kept saying “larger than the pole peg”. He is very different from me where I receive a regular income once a month, but he only receives income when he sells corn or gets a project from his office. He said he wants to find a way to reach financial stability. I hope so.

In the middle of our discussion, I informed him that I don’t wanna have a huge wedding party. Just an intimate dinner with our family. He also agrees. But then, suddenly, he explained more details about the wedding like which church, what’s the food for our guests, etc. And then, he also asked me where I wanna go for the honeymoon. Is it crazy? Still a long journey for us, but he already asked me for the wedding and the honeymoon.

It feels like being proposed in a subtle way. Before that night, he has told me that he wants to be married to me. He said, he can’t imagine if we didn’t meet and we can’t get married. Like he can’t live without me.

My mouth was silent. When he said that he wanted to get married with me, I couldn’t say anything. We hugged. His hug was very warm. I expressed “yes” as the answer by not letting go of his hug.

“I hope we can continue to be together like this.” He said that after many times telling me that he wants to get married with me.

“I won’t leave you. I will wait. Let’s try our best to make it happen,” I said.
